Membership

The membership of the Jasper Adult Learning Council is composed of individuals who represent diverse sectors and are interested in the development, coordination and delivery of adult learning programs.

2.1       Representatives of the Council are:                                                       

A.  Service-oriented rather than profit-oriented.
B.  Represented at the Council’s Annual General Meeting.

2.2       Members of the Council are appointed as Directors.

2.3       Each member in good standing with the Society is entitled to one (1) vote.         

2.4       Individuals desiring membership shall apply to the Jasper Adult Learning Council and be voted in by motion at a regular meeting of the Council executive.

2.4       Membership in the Jasper Adult Learning Council does not entail a fee.

2.5       Any member wishing to withdraw from membership may do so by submitting written notice to the Chairperson.
