3.1 Signing Authority
3.1.1 The Executive Director, Chair, Vice-Chair and Treasurer shall be the cheque-signing authorities for the Jasper Adult Learning Council.
3.1.2 Signing authority on all financial and official documents shall consist of the Executive Director and one of the following signing authorities: Chair, Vice Chair or Treasurer. Only complete and original signatures of the signing officers shall be rendered on any official document.
3.2 Surplus and Reserved Funds
3.2.1 The Jasper Adult Learning Council will conform to Alberta Learning’s according to Policy and Operating Requirements for declaring a financial surplus or deficit on annual grants.
- The Board will review the Jasper Adult Learning Council’s plan for its reserve funds on an annual basis and determine priorities for immediate and long-term use of the funds.
